Iris shorts

Well I knew I wouldn’t be able to resist the Colette patterns! Last week I made the Iris shorts, it is a beginner pattern and was very easy to follow, and like the pattern says I made a pair in a day. I lined the pockets in red and also used red for inside the waistband. All I need now is some sunshine so that I can wear them!

I am loving this jumbo ric rac that we have just had in from May Arts. I think I am going to have to trim one of my skirts with it!

French knickers

I am always looking for new sewing idea’s and when I got the Colette patterns to sell on the Trixie Lixie website I couldn’t resist trying a few out. These knickers are made using the Nutmeg lingerie pattern. The fabric is an old silk scarf that I bought in a charity shop and the trimming was purchased from a vintage shop.
