Lots of sewing on the go!

Tiny flower knickersThe fabric and knicker elastic is already available to buy and so is the sewing pattern

Tiny floral fabricI have also recently finished making the Colette Laurel dress for my daughter

Laurel dressIt is a lovely simple dress to make, it introduced me to some new techniques that I will use again and again such as bias binding for the sleeves and neckline and underlining, so simple and such a professional looking finish! The instruction booklet is excellent and the downloadable extra’s are great too!

Laurel dressI used a contrasting flower print bias binding which looks so lovely!

    • I love making knickers, I have got it down to a fine art and can knock up a pair in about 30 minutes which is great for presents for friends and uses up smallish scraps of fabric. My daughter wants me to make another Laurel for her to wear to her summer ball.

  2. Great Laurel and I like the jersey dress too! All your sewing makes me feel so lazy, I have four days off work now though and the plan is to sew, sew, sew!
