I make lots of Pyjama bottoms, they are a quick and easy gift to make, I usually make all the family a pair for Christmas. I wanted to do a tutorial but I haven’t had time to write a detailed pattern so I scoured the net for a good free pattern and found this excellent one on the Simplicity Creative website here
You can print off a FREE pattern and very good instructions, they are unisex and very easy to make!
Here is a pair I made using this tutorial
I love this Michael Miller fabric: Trailer Travel its so kitsch!
This jersey fabric is very soft, my daughter says these are really comfy pyjama’s
This is the pair I made for my son in the summer using Michael Millers Lil’ Dino’s fabric;
I am going to make some in this Michael Miller Many Mini Gnomes fabric for my daughter for Christmas this year
I made PJ’s for the first time using The Great British Sewing Bee pattern and found them easy enough. I shall check out this pattern too.

Super cool fabric! I love making PJ bottoms too- and usually make a dozen pairs every year. I also have so much flannel stashed away I will probably make another dozen this year! My girls actually want us all to have have matching Christmas bottoms this year. 🙂 ~Laurie

Matching pyjama’s, I like the sound of that but not sure my 18 year old daughter & 22 year old son would go for it!!
