We went to a lovely wedding yesterday, it was outside in a paddock and the weather stayed fine until late afternoon but then the heavens opened! This is my handmade outfit.
For the shrug I used the Cake Cocoa rif pattern and some of our lovely cream lace fabric.
The dress I made a few years ago for my cousins wedding, it is a mash up of a Burda dress pattern and a Colette Macaron. The fabric is from an Amy Butler range that is no longer available. We are offering 20% off Colette patterns this month, the discount code is in Love Sewing magazine, I have contributed withan article on my favourite Colette patterns.
As I said the weather didn’t stay great so I ended the night in different foot wear!
For those of you who do not follow TrixieLixie on facebook or Twitter here is a taste of the funny sewing posts that we like to do on a regular basis:

I will be back soon with more posts of my makes, but in the meantime I have to go & do some pattern testing for a friend. HAPPY SEWING!
