This week I made some Christmas gifts using some of the new Christmas fabric range that we have got at Trixie Lixie, its called Folk Art Holiday

First of all I made some Christmas bunting, this is available to buy as a kit here for £10.00 it includes everything you need to make 3 metres of bunting with full instructions.

Next I made a little half apron using the instructions from Cath Kidston’s book SEW!

I also made some quilted pot holders, these were made using 18 x 18cm square pieces of fabric with the edges curved, a piece of wadding sandwiched in the middle and then the edges finished with bias binding.

I can see myself using this fabric for a lot of my Christmas gift making this year.
